Northern lights put on a show in Cornwall
Social media has been full of pictures from people in Cornwall who witnessed an incredible display of the Northern Lights.
The Aurora Borealis are the result of solar eruptions sending particles towards Earth and the subsequent interaction of those particles with the Earth's atmosphere.
People were treated to displays of green, red and purple dancing in the skies all over Cornwall. Pete Nelson has been telling James Churchfield what he saw in Gorran Haven.
