Iran launches air attacks on Israel and several Gulf countries

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio says "the hardest hits" on Iran are "yet to come" adding he would not "give away details of our tactical efforts".

Fighting between Israel and the Iranian-backed forces of Hezbollah in Lebanon also appears to be escalating, with Israel ordering the evacuation of the capital Beirut.

Iran has continued to launch air attacks. Two drones have hit the US Embassy in the Saudi capital Riyadh. We'll ask how the president who pledged to remove America from 'forever wars' is being seen by his supporters now.
