US says strikes on Iran to 'surge dramatically'

Overnight, strikes targeted locations across the Middle East, including in Israel, Iran, Lebanon, and Bahrain. President Donald Trump has said he is not considering sending troops to Iran, describing it as a "waste of time", adding that Tehran has "lost everything they can lose".

The Israeli military said that its strikes overnight targeted what it called “regime infrastructure” in Tehran.
