Uganda's internet services restored

Internet access is back in Uganda after a shutdown imposed during the tense election period.

Internet services have been restored in Uganda, hours after President Yoweri Museveni was declared the winner of last week’s general election.

Also in today's programme: A music director is campaigning to grant the choral tradition of English Evensong - more than 500 years old - a world heritage status; and, Grok, Elon Musk's AI tool, will no longer be able to edit photos of real people.

Presenter Rebecca Kesby is joined by Rim Turkmani, Assistant Professor specialising in Syria and the Middle East at the London School of Economics, and Henry Chu, interim curator of the Nieman Foundation for Journalism at Harvard University.
