Donald Trump has said the United States could end its war against Iran in two or three weeks, whether "we have a deal or not". So why are US ground troops still congregating in the Middle East. We speak to a former American special forces colonel.
Meanwhile the Iranian President has said his country would consider ending the war if it received guarantees against future attacks. Asian stock markets have surged on hopes that the conflict will end soon.
