Throughout the summer Judge Jules spends a majority of his time living on the island and promoting Judgement Sunday, one of the most established club nights in Ibiza. He gave us his tips for first time visitors.
Getting the most out of your 7 day holiday
Try and have alternate daytime/night time orientated days, as it's easy to spend all day in bed and not really discover how beautiful the island is.
Don't go to the clubs too early. Visit bars or restaurants first, and don't arrive at the clubs before 1am, or you'll be virtually on your own.
Don't try and see every dj at every club, it's impossible. Pick out an itinerary in advance. One night on, one night off is a good strategy.
Avoid the West End of San Antonio. It's the only tacky part of the island, only worth visiting if you're skint, cos it's got cheaper bars than other areas.
Sample the local food, you're in Ibiza, why eat eggs beans and chips?
Be open-minded, Ibiza's famous for being cosmopolitan and embracing all cultures.
Watch the sun go down at the famous 'sunset strip' of bars that include Savannah, Cafe Del Mar, Mambo, Coastline and Kanya. Ibiza's sunsets are incredible.
 Safety
Be aware that drinks measures are gigantic!
Ibiza's much safer than just about anywhere in the UK, but still keep your wits about you for pickpockets.
Pace yourself!
 Saving money
It's often much cheaper to arrange an independent itinerary to Ibiza than going on a package tour. You can save up to 40% this way. There are a number of Ibiza hotel websites such as Ibizahotels.com, and Easyjet, FlyBe, BMI Baby and Britannia have flight-only websites.
If you intend to hire a car, Holiday Auto's is cheaper in advance than the deal you'll get on-island.
Some of the major clubs have bars with cheaper drinks prices than others within the same venue. Try and identify these, as drinks can be very pricey in Ibiza's clubs.
 Getting around
Rent a car - if you book in advance you can get a car for as little as £25 a day, which isn't much between a bunch of mates. There's a lot of Ibiza that many tourists never see.
