The Booth Museum."Over half a million specimens, natural history literature and data extending back over three centuries are housed in this fascinating museum, including hundreds of British birds displayed in recreated natural settings. Plus butterflies, skeletons, a whale and dinosaur bones."Loads and Loads of stuffed birds and a massive stuffed bear. Really, its a must.

if it's sunny (fingers crossed ! ) on the terraces on the sea front, like The Honey Bar, GEMINI, Arc etc. For pubs try Fortune of War, The Globe, Full Moon, Western Front, Brighton Rocks, Hop Poles, The Eagle - all great. Just avoid West St like the plague !
philippa
just make your own beach party where ever theres space or, alternatively, join some one elses- theres bound to be one!
Mook
Just opened - Bedouin, next to the varsity - great cocktails, food and dj having a good time. Great to look at and be looked at...

Best thing about Brighton has to be "The Mods", get down the arches on the sea front and check out the Mod scene, if you have not seen "Quadrophenia" then you have not lived, say no more.....oh and ma big sisters backgardens pretty impressive too.

OK.. The best busist area in Brigthon is Churchill Square and my friend said the best club in Brighton is EVENT2 (Does there open now?) I went Honeyclub once but there was too many people so I didn't enjoy enough. Aha.. STANMER PARK is one of the good place for picnic.I miss Brigthon & HOVE.Ex-Brighton Residence (Now I live in Oxford)

Chill out at Casablancas, downstairs is best, live funky jazz bands and then onto the Market Diner (all night cafe) for a Gut Buster breakfast. If you can eat a whole one , you get another one free. Shall I reserve Chris a table???
Natalie

I've got a ticket and im so happy!! I've lived in brighton all my life and it really is the coolest city.. So many back street pubs to choose from. .... As for clubs.. Audio obviously and the Venue itself Concorde 2 is very intimate and will rock with the Foo's!! Which other D.J's will be there i wonder? Anyone got any clues?
Gianna
pubs- fishbowl, bar, fortune of war, the globe.clubs- audio, the arc, concorde2. food- bills, buddies for classic fish n chips! music- resident, rounder records.sights- the pier, the pavillion, the lanes for good shopping.Brighton rocks!i'd love to bump into the foo's! maybe they could pop into halfords to see me??
Nick
The Foo Fighters should surely go to Brighton's only dedicated rock club - The Engine Rooms. It's small, skanky and sweaty. They'd love it.
Mattie
There's an amazing Italian restaurant in the Lanes that offers pizzas and red wine under candle light for under £10.
Dan Scully
Go to the Penthouse above the Freebutt, coolest place with a relaxed atmosphere. The people that go there won't harass you and are down to earth and easy to get on with. There's always DJs putting on unusual tunes and the regulars won't faint at the sight of 'celebrities'.Oh yeah, and check out Left Hand Red. A Brighton band that's gonna gonna be big real soon! It's not my band ;-)myspace.com/lefthandred
scotty

Almost suggest going to walkabout for good valued drinks then creation for the tunes or event 2 for a pure evening of cheese.Off to radio 1, 6 weeks of summer. free tickets would be nice
Kat
Go to the Robin Hood pub (Norfolk Place)which is a charity pub. All profit is given away for good causes, so where else can you get drunk and feel good about it! Oh and they too do Tuaca.
Vicky Lane- True Brightonian
I can't believe I left Brighton- it rules. Check out Javu on North St, but also agree with people saying check out Western Rd Hove, there are a few awesome quieter bars on Preston St plus they are opposite all the awesome restaurants. Try Good Friends for a proper Chinese! And if after clubbing, New Hong Kong on Preston St has to be done for a takeaway. The owners Alex and Linda are lovely too.
Kooz
Chris et al will have to take the 'Foo' to Casablanca's downstairs.... they'll luv the cosy atmosphere of a cool club and only club in brighton where live bands play! ;-) now where's my ticket??
James Marks
where do i start? The Honey Club is bar far the best club for Dance Music (Jules is now part of the furniture!), Audio is great for alternative stuff and breaks, Concorde 2 as well... Bars wise, if you want swank, the cocktails at Blanche House, if you want pre-club then the Honey Bar is the place to be. Loadsa brilliant restaurants too, im on about the 82nd, only 223 to go! Check out the Marina as well if its a nice day, also cant beat Hove lawns on the beach for a BBQ on a summer's Day. Hove is good for some more intimate bars and restaurants, check out Misty's for cocktails and Barney's on Western Road, oh yea and Pinxto people for some lush Tapas. B R I G H T O N R O C K S!
AM

I second Koba - great cocktails and really quiet. Or across the road from there is Pinxo People, a fab Tapas bar who also do good cocktails. Or the best pub in town, the Caroline Of Brunswick by the Level. Run by a lovely goth couple, great food, great DJs, great atmos. I also recommend you do all of the above in fancy dress...the chicken outfit rules (Masquerade nr Preston Circus). Looking forward to it guys!
Emma
The Art House along Western Road.

Emilie Lashmar
Stompa phunk on a saturday at amazing audio! Best club night ever. Especially kliks nights!
Paula Napier-Brown
Brighton is a terrible place, full of narrow minded people, the streets are filthy, you're guaranteed to be pick-pocketed, the seagulls will poo on you, the sea smells, there are no clubs, no pubs, in fact, alcohol is banned in Brighton, all the women look like sumo wrestlers and the men are all dweebs. No point in coming here. Don't come. I advise against it. Horrible place. Oh, and you'll get the lurgy. Yep, you will. Paula in gorgeous Brighton who seriously wants Foo Fighters tickets. So bugger off everyone else :-)
karina

Rosie
For great seafood, go to Riddle & Finns on Meeting House Lane in the Laines.. EXCELLENT oysters and pink champers - Yummy
Laura Knight
Go to Brightons best undiscovered cocktail bar Koba on western road, along from waitrose but look closely or you may miss it...the netrance is a small door with stairs that lead upstairs! Best cocktails with extensive list away from the crowds!
