Accepting Infertility

Listen again in full

Helen and Peter have accepted that they will never become parents.

Peter and Helen live in Edinburgh and have no children. This latter is not through choice.

Over the past ten years they have undergone four IVF treatments and several other medical procedures and operations. Now, however, like many other couples, they have had to accept that they will never become parents.

Listen to the interview to discover why adoption wasn't an option for them and how they have come to terms with childlessness.
