With little food or water, no electricty and inflation at eight thousand percent - how do women in Zimbabwe cope?
BBC Correspondent Sue Lloyd-Roberts risked imprisonment for reporting illegally from Zimbabwe - up to twenty two years under Robert Mugabe's regime. Now back in the UK, she joins Jane to talk about the country where supermarket shelves have been empty for months, where the only growth industry is funerals, and where women have a life expectancy of just thirty four years - the lowest in the world.
Sue Lloyd-Roberts' Zimbabwe’s Slow Death is on Newsnight on BBC Two at 22:30 on 13 September 2007.
