The Diaries of a 15 year old Israeli girl killed in Tel Aviv are published for the first time in English
In 1996, fifteen year old Bat Chen Shahak was killed by a suicide bomber in Tel Aviv along with 13 other people including two of her friends. It was her birthday. Since then her parents have published a collection of their daughter's writing and it’s now available for the first time in English. They have also joined with other families, both Palestinian and Israeli, who have lost loved ones in the conflict to call for peace and reconciliation. They hope their daughter’s writing will encourage Jewish and Arab children to form links and understanding.
