The poet on her latest work exploring pregnancy and early childhood
The poet SinΓ©ad Morrissey's new collection "Through the Square Window" has been praised for its tenderness and its sometimes unsettling exploration of pregnancy and early childhood. The collection has made the shortlist for the T.S.Eliot Prize (to be awarded on the 18th January) - it's the third time Sinead has been nominated. Jenni finds out more about how her experience of motherhood inspired and informed her most recent work.
"Through the Square Window" by Sinead Morrissey is published by Carcanet Press ISBN-13: 978 1 847770 57 8
