As Eid approaches many female prisoners are being released from jails in Islamic countries. What happens to them?
Eid starts on 13th of October and to mark the celebration many Muslim countries, especially Afghanistan, release female prisoners. But many womenβs groups and international organisations are warning that these women, if released, may become homeless and vulnerable to sexual exploitation or suffer punishment by their families.
