Why are women candidates and their supporters being targeted?
Kenyaβs elections took place on Thursday 27th December. During the campaign some estimate that 255 women, both candidates and their supporters, have been assaulted, yet no arrests have been made. We hear why women have been targeted and what is being done to tackle the under representation of women in Kenyan politics.
