Why do men dominate the letters page?

Why is the letters page, of whichever newspaper you care to choose, invariably dominated by men? The Observer for one, has put out a plea asking for more letters of a female stamp claiming they’re often wittier and less pompous than those of men. Stephen Pritchard, Readers’ Editor at The Observer, and Sarah Sands, deputy editor of The London Evening Standard, join Jenni to analyse the letters sack.
