Gender equality in Cuba.

On Sunday, the Cuban National Assembly elections are due to take place. Currently just under forty percent of the deputies are women. Jane discusses the Cuban government’s policy on the advancement of women, gender equality and the role of the Federation of Women with Emily Morris, Senior Analyst, Latin America at The Economist Intelligence Unit and Par Kumaraswami, Lecturer in Latin American Studies at the University of Manchester.
