Is justice being done in the family courts? Karen Haynes had her daughter taken away from her twenty minutes after her birth, on suspicion that she had previously smothered her son.

Karen's case was heard in the family courts and no criminal charge was ever brought against her. Nonetheless, her daughter was given up for adoption and Karen will probably never see her again.
