Des'reeMonday 10 March 2003
Des'ree made her name in popular music in 1992 with a song called Feel So High.

She was born in London, but spent part of her teenage years at her father's home in Barbados. They came back, she did her A levels and survived on odd jobs whilst she developed her musical style. You Gotta Be was the hit which launched her around the world.
This month she releases a new single, It's Okay, from an album called Dream Soldier - her first for four years. Des'ree talks to Jenni about her life and career.
Her forthcoming single 'It's Okay' is out on March 24th. It's taken from her latest album 'Dream Soldier' which is released on March 31st
