Rebecca ClarkeMonday 24 March 2003
Tonight, almost a century after they were written three pieces by Rebecca Clarke will receive their premiere in London.

Rebecca Clarke was one of Britain's best composers of the early 20th century. Although she was a contemporary of Vaughn Williams and Holst, it is only in the last 20 years since her death, that her work is being rediscovered.
As well as hearing from Rebecca Clarke herself from a private archive tape, Fiona Clampin has been looking at her life and work with the help of her niece Becky Evans and her biographer Liane Curtis.
3 World Premiers of Rebecca Clarke - Concert at Lauderdale House Tonight at 7.30pm, Contact No: 0208 440 2042.
CD Recording: Rebecca Clarke: The Complete Choral Music, Choir of Gonville & Caius College, Cambridge, Geoffrey Webber, CD DCA 1136
