Is Shouting as Bad as SmackingThursday 27 March 2003
It'll come as no surprise to parents that most of us shout at our children.

New research from the NSPCC says that 87 per cent of mothers and fathers resort to yelling. But, the NSPCC also says that shouting can be as bad as smacking, damaging a child's self esteem.
The writer and broadcaster Lynette Burrows, who has 6 children and Eileen Hayes, mother of 4 children and Parenting Adviser to the NSPCC join Jenni to discuss if it's true.
