Queen NoorWednesday 9 April 2003
Her Majesty Queen Noor of Jordan joins Jenni to talk about her 21-year marriage to King Hussein, set against three decades of turbulent politics in the Middle East.

With her own Arab-American background, Queen Noor will be talking about her determination to promote a positive image of Arabs and Islam in the West - and her disappointment at how recent events have put that in jeopardy.
She'll also be explaining how, as an independent 26-year-old, she grappled with the challenges of becoming stepmother to the King's eight children and dealt with the entrenched traditions of the royal household in Jordan.
Leap of Faith, by Queen Noor, Biography published 18 March 2003 by Weidenfeld & Nicholson, ISBN: 0297646648
