Elizabeth BellingerWednesday 16 April 2003
Five years ago transsexual Elizabeth Bellinger and her husband Michael came on Woman's Hour to talk about their love for each other and their fight to get their marriage legally recognised.

They've since taken their case to the Court of Appeal and finally the House of Lords - but the Law Lords ruled last week that they could not amend the law in the Bellingers' favour .
Elizabeth has now vowed to take her case to the European Court of Human Rights and she joins Jenni to explain why she can't give up on the fight to get her 22 year marriage recognised in law.
