David DickinsonThursday 15 May 2003
Jenni Murray with David Dickinson
He's single-handedly popularised the phrase "cheap as chips", and has posed naked but for a strategically placed teddy on the front cover of the Radio Times.

Even those who have never seen his BBC TV show Bargain Hunt, may have found it hard to avoid the sight of antiques expert and television presenter David Dickinson.
David Dickinson joins Jenni to tell her about the women in his life, the granny who sparked his interest in antiques, his wife Lorne, the mother who gave him up for adoption and his passion for a bargain.
His autobiography - 'David Dickinson - the Duke: What a Bobby Dazzler' is published today by BBC Consumer Publishing; ISBN: 0563487240.
