Millions of women in the UK suffer from thyroid disease without realising it. Left unchecked it can cause serious health problems, from osteoporosis to heart disease, but once detected it's easily treated.

So is enough being done to alert women and doctors to the symptoms?
Endocrinologist Dr Mark Vanderpump, who is also the secretary of the British Thyroid Association, and Lynne Mynott of support group Thyroid UK, join Jenni to discuss.
