Forgotten Summer VegetablesTuesday 20 May 2003
We've got haricot beans, mung beans, pinto beans, red kidney beans - an endless list, all easily available in the supermarket. But there's one which is said to be the most delicious and beautiful of all.

In our series on Forgotten Summer Fruit and Veg, Anna McNamee went to see Fred Foster at Turnips, in London's Borough Market. There she met up with the cookery writer Sybil Kapoor to track down the borlotti beans.
