Image: American vocalist, Dawn Upshaw
The American vocalist Dawn Upshaw, has been described as "opera's soccer mom" - the most un-diva like soprano in the business. She's also one of the most versatile - appearing on Broadway one minute, and at the Opera House the next. She is undoubtedly one of the greatest of our time.

Dawn Upshaw joins Jenni to talk about her latest production El Niño - the story of the nativity told from a woman's perspective.
Dawn Upshaw will be singing in the UK premiere of John Adam's El Nino at the Barbican at the end of June, see website for details

Sony Classical: DAWN UPSHAW Biog.
Barbican: El Nino
