Healing FieldsMonday 1 September 2003
Nazreen
Jenny Grut is a psychotherapist who carries out pioneering work for the Medical Foundation. She works with victims of torture, refugees from all over the World, helping them to rebuild their shattered lives.

Over the last decade she has been developing the Natural Growth Project. The project allows torture victims to heal through therapeutic gardening. So instead of treating her clients in a small consulting room, she encourages them to cultivate a Remembrance Garden and allotments.
Felicity Finch talks to Jenny about the healing powers of nature.
The Healing Fields by Sonja Linden and Jenny Grut, published by Frances Lincoln
