Cake Making - Mother/Daughter BondingWednesday 19 November 2003
Can you remember when you last baked a cake? Odds on, it was when you were a child, or it was with a child.

This week a new play opens in London about this simple pleasure which explores the rite of passage of baking with mother.
The playwright of Cake Sarah Woods and award-winning cake-maker Julie Duff join Jenni to talk about how the joy of making cakes affects the mother and daughter relationship.
The play 'Cake' runs until 7 December at Battesea Arts Centre. Box office: 020 7223 2223.
Cakes: Regional & Traditional by Julie Duff is published Grub Street Publishing; ISBN: 1904010539
