Alfred William's Story

At the outbreak of WW1 he was in the Territorials and on November 5th, 1914 went to France with the Horse Transport Section of the 3rd Wessex Field Ambulance (later the 26th Field Ambulance RAMC TF) and served throughout the war, during which he was badly gassed.
