4. Remote Control
You can combine the previous circuits you constructed to create a remote control device with two slide switches. These can then be used to operate both motors together or independently. The slide switch on the left side is used to operate the robot’s left motorised wheel and the slide switch on the right to operate the motorised wheel on the right.

Robo-Voyageur Robot Build Lesson 4 Notice that the top circuit diagram is liked to the left motorised wheel (2) and the bottom circuit diagram is linked to the right motorised wheel (3). Watch how the slide switches on the remote control unit are used to manoeuvre your robot from ‘START’ to ‘FINISH’. With the right skills, you can command your robot will collect the prize Robot World microchips, avoiding the hazardous electrical mines and circuit vortex along the way.
