Judder uses an unbalanced wheel, turning at a rapid speed to give it its unique motion. It's the most basic machine in Robot World's range of robots but it clearly demonstrates how movement can be achieved using resourceful design techniques.

H-Rollerbot stands for horizontal rollerbot. This tiny robot may look small but it packs some real power. Its movement is frenzied because it lacks an effective control mechanism. Watch out for the next generation of Rollerbots, they come with a specially designed programmable IQ controller that is programmed by you, the robot builder.

V-Rollerbot stands for vertical rollerbot, it too packs a powerful punch but lacks controlled movement. Change the wheels and cams on this robot to see how the movement is affected. It may be a simple design but it moves with impressive ease and speed.
