Sheridan Morley talks to the creators of the 1953 classic Broadway musical, Kismet - Robert Wright and George Forrest. They are the writers of hit songs from the show including Night of My Nights, Baubles, Bangles, and Beads and Stranger in Paradise. They were inspired by the classic Arabian Nights stories and the composer Alexander Borodin. First produced on Broadway, Kismet won a Tony Award for Best Musical in 1954, with a film version released in 1955. Producer: Stella Hanson First broadcast on BBC Radio 2 in October 1995.
