Mumzy Stranger is a British Bangladeshi rapper, singer, songwriter and producer. His musical journey started in 2005 where a friend sent in a demo tape to the BBC Asian Network which was then shortlisted for the finals of the 'Unsung' competition, searching for unsigned talent. He missed out on a win but met Rishi Rich as a consolation prize who saw huge potential in him. Mumzy's the first Bangladeshi artist to enter mainstream music and is one of the biggest British Asian R&B artists. His style is unique and combines reggae, dancehall, R&B and soul.
