On Anglesey, we meet an artist who also farms, working from her family land while capturing the character, landscapes and rhythms of island life through her art. Her work reflects a deep connection to farming, place and the changing seasons. With St Dwynwen’s Day approaching on January 25th, we head to Carmarthenshire to visit a farmer who grows flowers from a farmyard setting. The business has blossomed through careful growing, seasonality and a strong sense of love for the land, supplying flowers for one of Wales’s most meaningful days. The programme also hears from Abi Reader, newly elected President of NFU Cymru. Formerly Deputy President, she becomes the first woman to lead the farming union in Wales, reflecting on responsibility, representation and the future of Welsh agriculture.
