Alison Limerick performs alongside the BBC Concert Orchestra from BBC Maida Vale studios for Radio 2’s Piano Room Month. Alison is a British singer-songwriter best known for her 90s club anthem Where Love Lives. Over her career, she has worked with many other musicians and groups, including M People, George Michael and Lamont Dozier. Late last year, she released a new version of Where Love Lives, created by super producer Labrinth, which soundtracked the 2025 John Lewis Christmas advert. Alison said: "I am super excited about working with the BBC Concert Orchestra; it is an honour to be invited to take part in a Piano Room session. I will of course be very nervous but it going to be a blast. Of that I am sure." Back for its fifth year, Radio 2 Piano Room Month sees globally-famous, award-winning artists perform three tracks - a new song, one of their well-known numbers, and an unexpected cover version - all accompanied by the BBC Concert Orchestra. A BBC Audio production for BBC Radio 2.
