Mark Radcliffe and Stuart Maconie present a feast of great music and chat for weekend breakfast. Today Emma Pollock shares her ‘First, Last and Everything’, that’s her first record, the most recent one she's enjoyed and the record that means ‘everything’ to her. Emma Pollock is a Scottish singer-songwriter, musician, and a founding member of The Delgados. The band formed in 1995 in Glasgow with Stewart Henderson, Paul Savage and Alun Woodward. Emma has been a solo artist since 2005 and released four albums of her own, including her latest one. She is also part of a group of Scottish musicians called Hen Hoose Collective with MALKA, Carla J Easton, Inge Thomson, Susan Bear, SHEARS, Frances McKee, AMUNDA, Djana Gabrielle, Jill Lorean, Cariss Crosbie and Ray Aggs. They’ve just released their album ‘The Twelve’. Also on the show ... long-running feature ‘The Chain’ which gives listeners the chance to pick a track that links in some way to the last.
