The funny man from Salford is back on radio to entertain with jokes and sketches about everyday British life. The gas man can't find the metre, a chaotic dustbin collection and a tipsy traveller can't find his return ticket......... All the voices are by Al Read. Al first came to fame on BBC Radio in the 1950s thanks to his northern comic monologues. Written by Ronnie Taylor Music from Kenny Ball and his Jazzmen Producer John Browell First broadcast on BBC Radio 2 in April 1976.
