Good News Wednesday

Vernon Kay

Available for 28 days

Vernon hears about what's making you smile on Good News Wednesday plus more from The Charlatans' frontman Tim Burgess in Tracks Of My Years. Born in Worsley, Tim Burgess grew up in Moulton in Cheshire and joined The Charlatans after supporting them as part of his first band, The Electric Crayons. The band released their first single in 1990 and have now released fourteen studio albums over a 35 year career to date. He's also released several albums as a solo artist and during the COVID-19 lockdowns he launched his hugely successful Tim's Listening Parties on social media, where music fans listen to an album together, pressing play at the same time, often with artists joining in. Next month Tim heads off on tour with The Charlatans across the UK including dates in Norwich, Cardiff, Newcastle and Edinburgh. A BBC Audio production for BBC Radio 2.
