WOMEN & THE NHS Yesterday Scotcast asked - does the NHS have a problem with women – and treating female-only conditions? This was all because a poll by the BBC has suggested 50% of voters care about the NHS more than anything else in the upcoming election. That figure is higher for women than it is for men. Women are more likely to be on multiple waiting lists than men, are more likely to live with chronic pain, and spend more years suffering from ill health. Connie asks - does the NHS care about women? US-ISRAEL WAR WITH IRAN The conflict is causing massive disruption. Since the airstrikes started more than twenty thousand flights from seven major airports including Dubai, Doha and Abu Dhabi have been cancelled. Tens of thousands of travellers left stranded. The Foreign Secretary - Yvette Cooper - confirmed yesterday that efforts are underway to bring some of the stranded home with a UK Government charter flight due to take off from Muscat in Oman "in the coming days". Connie asks - do you have a loved out there? Tell us what’s happening? Have your travel plans been impacted? CONSUMER SURGERY Consumer Expert, Martyn James, returns for our weekly Consumer Surgery.
