Afternoons

Available for 28 days

Academy Award-winning composer Steven Price joins Len Pennie to talk about his specially created score for a cinematic concert event coming to Edinburgh's Usher Hall, with Sir David Attenborough's narration guiding the audience through spectacular sequences featuring coral reefs, kelp forests and the open ocean, set against Steven's powerful and evocative score performed by the Scottish Ensemble. We have new music from Scottish singer-songwriter Kohla for Len's weekly Arts Mixtape, her current single Caramel. She talks about her ongoing project combining visual art with releasing a single a month up until her new album is released, with her own paintings serving as the album artwork. Bafta award-winning filmmaker Phil Grabsky tells us about his latest Exhibition on Screen film, Turner & Constable, which comes to cinemas across Scotland.
