In Downpatrick, we explore the world’s only permanent exhibition dedicated to Ireland’s patron saint, before travelling to Armagh - the only city with two cathedrals in his honour. Helen Mark also walks the slopes of Slemish Mountain in Antrim, where St. Patrick is said to have tended sheep as a young boy. Julian Fowler visits a delightful exhibition at St Macartin’s Cathedral in Enniskillen, where wartime life on the home front is brought to life through beautifully knitted and crocheted scenes.
