It's the first time in more than half a century the two superpowers are without binding restrictions on their arsenals. The New START treaty limited each side to about fifteen hundred long-range warheads. Its lapse removes the final legal cap on the world’s two largest nuclear arsenals at a time of heightened tensions over Ukraine and growing global instability. US President Donald Trump has said immigration agents could use a "softer touch" as his administration begins pulling about a quarter of its force out of Minnesota, where two American citizens died last month in confrontations with federal officers. The killings of Renee Good and Alex Pretti by federal agents caused heightened tensions in Minnesota and across the United States, raising questions about the conduct of the Administration's immigration policy. We speak to Ben Cohen, co-founder of the ice cream brand Ben & Jerry. The brand has created a new flavour in honour of Ms Good and Mr Pretti. And our reporter looks at the state of maternity care in Gaza and the dangers faced by mothers and their new born in the territory. Presenters: James Copnall and Anne Soy.
