Qatar says Iran attacked energy hub

Newsday

Available for 25 days

President Trump has warned Iran not to attack a key Qatari liquefied natural gas complex at Ras Laffan again. The complex is the largest gas hub. That strike followed an Israeli attack on a major Iranian gas field in the Gulf, South Pars. The Israeli military has issued a strict evacuation order for much of southern Lebanon, saying it would soon target key river crossings. We look at the mass displacement of people in the country. And the Senegalese government has called for an independent international investigation into what it calls "suspected corruption" at African football's governing body after it stripped Senegal of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations title and awarded it to Morocco. We speak to a Senegalese member of the Confederation of African Football. Presenters: Rob Young and Anne Soy (Photo: The headquarters of state-owned petroleum company QatarEnergy, in Doha, Qatar.
