Iran says 'non-hostile' ships can pass Strait of Hormuz

Iran has told the United Nations' Maritime Organisation that ships with no ties to Israel or the United States could pass safely through the Strait of Hormuz. The waterway has been closed to tankers since the US-Israeli military campaign began. The United States says it has sent Iran a 15 point plan to end the war. The plan is said to have been delivered via Pakistan. We speak to a Pakistani senator about what is known.
