Christmas has been put on hold for Mike Rogers from Southampton and John Ward from Hythe. While every other man, woman and child is doing battle with the Christmas shopping, Mike and John are preparing for a 3,000 mile drive to Dakar in northern Africa.
Unluckily for the dynamic duo, the rules of the Plymouth to Dakar Challenge state they'll have to do it in a 100 quid banger. They're raising money for The Falklands Veterans Foundation and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
Of course they'll only get the money if they get there โฆ. which could be the problem!
