League Two side AFC Wimbledon have signed Reading defender Angus MacDonald on a six-month loan deal.
The 19-year-old centre-back has not made a senior appearance for the Royals but had spells at Basingstoke Town and Torquay last season.
MacDonald has been capped by England at Under-16 and Under-19 age levels.
Dons boss Terry Brown told the club website: "Angus is a very talented, young centre-back. I think he will be a really good addition for us."
He added: "We have been looking to get another centre-half in on loan until Callum McNaughton is back and fit to play."
