Kemen captained France U19s at July's European Championship where they lost to Spain in the semi-finals
Midfielder Olivier Kemen has left Newcastle to join French side Lyon for a fee of 750,000 euros (£550,000).
Kemen, 19, signed for Newcastle from Metz in 2013 but never made a competitive first-team appearance.
"Officially a Lyon player. Really happy to sign this great club," the Frenchman wrote, external on Twitter.
Lyon, who finished second in Ligue 1 last year, confirmed the move, external and also the signings of midfielders Lucas Tousart and Sergi Darder.
