Jordan Pickford: Alfreton Town extend Sunderland keeper's loan

Alfreton Town have extended Sunderland goalkeeper Jordan Pickford's loan deal until the end of the season.

The 19-year-old joined on an initial one-month deal and has helped steer the club away from the Blue Square Bet Premier relegation zone.

He has yet to feature on a losing side, winning three and drawing two of his five games while at the Impact Arena.

The England Under-19 international made 17 appearances during a loan spell at Darlington last season.
