Oxford United have signed South Korea winger Jin Woo Jeon from K-League champions Jeonbuk Hyundai.
The 26-year-old is the third new permanent signing to join the Championship side this month.
He scored 20 goals and provided six assists as Jeonbuk won a league and cup double in South Korea last year and has made two appearances for his country.
"He has real quality at the top end of the pitch and the ability to decide games," Oxford boss Matt Bloomfield told the club website., external
"His speed, directness, and mentality stood out immediately, and we believe he can have a significant impact both this season and in the long term. He gives us something different, and we're excited to start working with him.
"Jin Woo's season ended in early December, so he may need some time to adapt, which we hope can happen quickly."
Oxford, who are 23rd in the Championship, five points from safety, have not disclosed any fee they have paid for the player, or the length of his contract.
"When Oxford United showed interest, I studied the club carefully," Jeon said.
"I felt a real connection straight away and believed I could make a difference here, so the decision was easy.
"I want to be a player who brings energy, intensity and excitement. I enjoy taking defenders on, playing aggressively and creating problems for the opposition. Above all, I want the fans to enjoy watching me play."
