Wales' Tesni Murphy has announced her retirement from squash at the age of 33.
Murphy (nee Evans) won the British title three times in her 15-year career and won bronze at the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games in 2018.
That year she became the first Welsh woman to reach the top 10 in the world rankings, reaching a career-high ninth as she reached the semi-finals of the US Open.
She was chosen as Wales' flagbearer for the opening ceremony of the 2022 Commonwealth Games alongside cycling legend Geraint Thomas, while her brother Emyr was also in the Welsh squash team in Birmingham.
"Squash has been a massive part of my life," said Murphy on social media. "Travelling the world, doing something I love, I will never take for granted.
"It has given me so much, so many amazing experiences and memories that I will never forget.
"I have met some amazing people along the way, made great friends who just made tour life so fun, I have had an absolute blast.
"To all my family, thank you, you have been my biggest supporters, wouldn't have been possible without you.
"I'm so looking forward to spending more time with you all, you mean the world to me."
