 Hubbard competes for the Birchfield Harriers Athletics Club |
Grantham high jumper Vicki Hubbard has been selected in the Great Britain squad for next month's World Indoor Athletics Championship in Qatar. Hubbard, 20, cleared the qualifying height of 1.92m at an invitational meet in Split, Croatia on Sunday. In doing so, Loughborough-based Hubbard also bettered her personal best by 3cm. The jump was 5cm higher than the leap that saw the Birchfield Harrier become British indoor national champion in Sheffield the previous week.
